From the New York Times: President Bush told Congressional leaders Thursday that he would veto any legislation that weakened federal policies or laws on abortion.

Uh huh.

More: Mr. Bush said his veto threat would apply to any measures that "allow taxpayer dollars to be used for the destruction of human life."

Bush is concerned about human life. Doesn't want us to spend money on anything that would destroy human life.

Except for that , you know, emergency war funding bill thingie.
