Bolton

Bush's little cowboy move of appointing Bolton has me out of sorts this morning. This isn't a course of action that any President should take unless it's absolutely necessary. Bolton is not absolutely necessary unless the agenda is to further the destruction of our global relationships. The Democrats, the Independents, the moderate Republicans, the Greenies - everyone should be opposing this move right now. Done's done, but this should be the final straw. Nothing Bush wants done in his final years in the White House should be easy, the Democrats should stand up to every single nomination that doesn't meet with their 100% approval and nuclear options be damned. At least they'd show some spine.
